Dear Dr. Folk,
I don't even know if I can begin to express the gratitude and appreciation I feel for you! You are truly a wonderful human being with an extraordinary gift! I thank God for the day that he had our paths cross.

After my cancer and mastectomy (on my 34th birthday) I really struggled with my self image. I never really gave myself time to grieve over my "loss" because I was a young mom and wife. I knew I had to move on and focus foreward for the sake of my family. I didn't realize it, but my loss of body image manifested itself in ways that I wasn't paying attention to. I gained a lot of weight and didn't care as much about my outward appearance...

Thank you for helping me to reclaim my body image and for helping me remember what my body looked like before cancer. I am so thrilled with the results of my surgeries! I can't wait to loose those last extra pounds and get back where I was. It just took a little help from "my friend".
