Dr. Folks performs a wide range of procedures that you may be interested in learning about. The term "plastic surgery" refers to both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. Cosmetic surgery is optional, aesthetic surgery, used to improve a patient's appearance. Reconstructive surgery is used to repair an injury, damage from another surgery, or correct cleft palate or other congenital problems present from birth. Dr. Folk performs both types of plastic surgery. There are also non-invasive or "spa" services (see our non-invasive procedures page) which can be provided in many settings. Dr. Folk's physician assistant Tricia Stephenson has been working in the plastic surgery field for eight years. She has an unbelievable eye and gentle hand when performing injectibles and fillers. Skin care procedures are performed in a quiet and peaceful setting.
