BIA-ALCL is a rare but treatable form of lymphoma that develops in scar tissue around breast implants, most commonly associated with textured surfaces like Allergan Biocell. While the overall risk remains low, awareness of symptoms and proper monitoring is key to early diagnosis and successful treatment. Patients with textured implants should stay informed, but do not need implant removal unless other medical or cosmetic concerns arise.
